What a lovely place! The cottages and surrounding landscape are gorgeous and these photos capture a very specific feeling of "home" for me. Hope to see more like this soon!
Thank you, Danielle! I have mixed emotions. Because these are very much long abandoned places, from an older rural epoque in Sweden. That 99 % drives by in their cars at high speed. To me there's some sadness and a ghostly feel mixed with the beauty of the landscape. I stopped the car and went out for a walk here in this god forgottoen place in northern Sweden. I think the big house is scary and strange, perhaps it has been a missionary house. So your reaction surprised me a bit but that's positive!
